|2 cups dates, pitted (250 g)|
|11/2 cups grated coconut, unsweetened (130 g)|
|1/4 cup hemp seed (35 g)|
|1/4 cup chia seeds (40 g)|
|1/4 cup cocoa powder (18 g)|
|2 tablespoons maple syrup|
|A pinch of salt|
|1/2 cup grated coconut to coat the bites (50 g)|
Soak dates in boiling water for 10 minutes.
Drain thoroughly and add to a food processor.
Add the remaining ingredients and blend for a few minutes or until mixture is smooth and holds together.
Roll the dough into 20 bites, coat in grated coconut and refrigerate.
Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 7 days in an airtight container.
